MY FAVOURITE DESIGN [ inspiration - #DES100 ]

IThere are many designs that inspire me, including things from my everyday life. One design that is my favourite is the Apple AirPods. AirPods are wireless headphones that are created by Apple. This design was released in December, 16th 2016.

There are 3 different generations of AirPods, AirPods 1, AirPods 2 and AirPods 3. The first 2 generations have an identical design, whereas the 3rd generations are where the design changes. I like the design of the first two generations.

I would consider these wireless earphones as one of my favourite designs due to look of it/aesthetic and how they are very useful. Although wireless headphones have been around for many years, however, I would say that these AirPods have the best look to them when plugged into your ears and have created a trend for wireless headphones in the industry.

The design to the AirPods have a sleek, simple and basic aesthetic to it, matching the other

Apple products, creating a harmonious and complementary style when put together. This helps create a brand and cohesiveness to a brand/ company, which I am into. Another reason why the AirPods are my favourite design is because it is useful and practical. The design is very simple and compact which is very easy to carry around and can be stylised with an engraving of your choice. The actual headphone part fits right sung into your ear and personally can be used for many hours on end without irritation/it feeling uncomfortable in my ear. The wireless earphones are easy to use whenever and wherever as they have no strings, it means that it does not get in the way of other things when listening to.

These factors combined of the aesthetic and the practicalness, I would consider AirPods as one of my favourite designs and a design that helps bring inspiration.
